Ridderinkhof is founded in 1900 and has been fully focussed on designing, building and selling winches since then. We never did anything else. We are designing and producing offshore winches, anchor handling winches, towing winches, pipe lay vessel winches, civil waterworks/land based winches and custom built winch systems.

Clients from all over the world consider Ridderinkhof as to be high in the ranks of world top 8 of best known winch companies. Owners of our winches consider the equipment to be strong, robust  and reliable, this image came with small steps, and we stiil make big technical jumps forwards.

We know everything about winches,  for us there is no technical limit , so now we supply winchsystems based on frontline technology.
Design, production and assembly is done in our own companies and plants in the Netherlands and Belgium, where we are able to make every  part of the biggest winch in the world, fully by ourselves, having total controll on quality at the same time. This is the reason that we can deliver the most reliable winches at shortest delivery times and world class quality at marketequivalent prices.We can machine winchdrums until 4,5 meters diameter in our own house, and we can machine cogwheels up to 3,5 meters diameter at module 28.

Ridderinkhof is a private owned company, on a daily base managed by the owners resulting in short chains of information and command, oriented on business with a long term strategy. Our team of engineers, shop preparation, shop management, quality control people and assembling staff, has been working together in our company for many, many years.

Ridderinkhof is part of a group, as a full sister of  the belgian winchmaker Brusselle Marine Industry, both companies are complementing each other in the market and in its internal possibilities. Brusselle and Ridderinkhof have their own identity, -brandnames and -responsibilities within the group.
